So many lives were lost before the gun was fired
Destroyed by a time and place beyond all humanity
What drives someone with their whole life ahead to grow so tired?
It truly is our lowest when the youth disdain life with such profanity
~
Let us please destroy television and gaming instead of our young
Empower them with loving kindness and tender compassion
Let not their lives come to an end, their many beautiful songs unsung
Are they not more important than money, politics hate and fashion?

Love them, honor them if we want humanity to progress exponentially
Let them pride their spiritual acquisitions above the crass materialism
Destroying them is not acceptable please, please face this spiritually
Must have the strength to be teachable above and beyond all our schisms.
