A jewel with many facets
Shining the wild light
Of the feminine power
The bear protecting her young
The priestess inspiring the masses
Rosa refusing to concede
Tahirih removing her veil
These are my heroes
My inspiration
For the wildness of my soul

The prompt today is my favorite so far:
“Wild Writing: Wild writing comes from the wild mind. For me it is accessing that part of myself that is primal, that part of myself that doesn’t listen to societal conventions. Dancing takes me to this place like nothing else can. It takes me out of my body and into that space of imagination, possibilities, and no thought. I know you’re probably wondering how you can write if you are in a place of no thought. Well, that is the place where your ego steps out of the way and deep connection happens. It is a place where your writing can fall onto the page almost of its own volition. Try it for yourself, put on some music and dance into and out of your own way and let loose your wild writing.”~Morgan Dragonwillow

I love the artwork… and your poetry.
May have to catch up later in the week.. my daughter from Texas is visiting for the first time after fives years.
Then again… she may spend time with friends that are so important as we get older…
Peace and love

Thank you. It’s not easy when we only see our children occasionally!

I’ll confess I had to wiki-search Tahirih…but the poem was striking enough that I couldn’t just let my ignorance stand on that score…so I did…and I learned something new. Very nicely done. Clean poetry, impactful – nothing wasted. I liked it very much.
