❤
She’s gonna fly
Up above her distress
Soar in the atmosphere
Of detachment
Living for today
As that is all that’s real
I will follow her
On her journey
Cast aside my pain
Find my way again
Move my wings
To the rhythm
Her music shall
Inspire me

Mmm…the idea of, “soaring in the atmosphere of detachment” is intriguing…yes, this is actually a physical place that you write of…I like the way you wove the words of the music into your poetry and brought it to a meaning…a song of transcending pain. Beautiful. 🙂

Besides the phrase “atmosphere of detachment,” which others have already commented on, I especially was drawn to “move my wings.” Reminds me to risk, to put into play gifts and talents, to overcome insecurity, inferiority, and inertia. Thank you! So beautifully written and so very thought- (and action-) provoking! God bless you!

Sometimes all it takes is seeing someone being able to fly to inspire you to do the same. Very nice.

Flying ” up above her distress” is good good, and Sia’s music deserves your accolade. Does anyone else sing about such negative stuff so positively?

A common option, right? Soaring up and beyond. I like how powerfully your narrator achieves this. Wonderful.
