Meant to protect and defend

On them we can depend

Now they hardly refrain

No, we’re not under martial law. It is not illegal to be a person of colour, yet. Vote very carefully, in 2016.

I would disagree about it not being illegal for being a person of color. haven’t you heard of being arrested for driving while black (or brown, or red, or yellow). as for martial law, it depends on what neighborhood you are fortunate or unfortunate to live in. My $.02.
