Caterpillars marked like an Aztec design
Slowly journeying up the flower’s stem
Ever undulating towards her sacred shine
Cocooning in the shelter of change’s realm
To her sure fate, she must try to resign
She emerges from her death transformed

Really LOVED this one, Carol. Very cool! I could never do what you do because I just flow, not even thinking how many words, how many sentences, etc. I do however am very aware of rhythm. Rhyming necessarily not all the time, but the beat, oh yes, very important to me. Then there are my writings that just want to be written as they want. LOL Ya never know what comes out of my hand or head. Not even me. 🙂 Beautiful job, my friend!! ❤

Thanks, Amy! I am not great with rhythm but am working on it. Ans I call myself a poet? 😉

I have music in my blood so when I hear the words they usually have a beat. I tend to work that way. Rhythm to me makes a poem so powerful. Yes you are a poet but just in a different way. 🙂 That’s all!!! 😉

The eternal promise of Spring! How wonderful it should arrive on one of the coldest days we’ve had this Winter. 🙂

Really cold. Here we’re under a tornado watch with 68 degree weather. Crazy.

I like the idea of change being a shelter. So often, I treat it as the opposite, and avoid it. And sometimes it truly is there to protect me, help me fly. I love this.

It sure can be. I just need to remember that when going through it. Thank you.
