The storm-tossed seas are made calm
Clouds part creating a space for the sun
Would seem the tempest is finally done
Perhaps a temporary lull in the raging storm
The kind of storm from which tales are spun
From this tossing, the world can transform

I want to imagine that a new beginning of being created by nature ~ The lull is only temporary but change is constant in nature ~ Good one Carol ~

…the kind of storm from which tales are spun….great line and very timely. Sunday night we had gale force winds, sheets and sheets of wind, thunder and lightning. I expect it was the same storm that the Anthem of the Seas cruise ship ran into … Very much in the news. I suspect there will be thousands of folks telling tales from that experience for a long time!

Indeed so many tales involve storms! Not only those storms of the sea but the storms of life in general. And, yes, after the storm a transformation!

Love those lines quoted above. Quite a story to this storm and it’s only the beginning of a transformation 🙂

I LOVE “from this tossing…”
So much can come from a gentle (or not so gentle) tossing of it all back up into the air, and seeing where it lands.

A lull in the storm is so timely. Gives one a chance to catch their breath. Lovely take on lull.

the sea and the wind and the storm have done their hard days work. no they can all repose at night.

I see this as a metaphor for the constant changes that go on around us. Nothing is certain except that things will change! It’s no wonder we sometimes feel a little “wobble-y.” Well done, Carol!
