People have developed elaborate strategies to avoid having their cars decorated–spaces to avoid, etc. I just glare at those pigeons and will them to leave my car alone. Sometimes it works. Not bad memories but a reminder of a funny/not pleasant reality 😉

the homing pigeon is much more than a bird brain, sensitive to the earth’s magnetic field, infrared light, and all kinds of weighty things; all we think of is the gentle coo. there is much more below the surface of this creature than at first blush.
