Howls echo from the mountain top
Moaning in tandem with the wind
Bewailing the plight of our home
Praying the rape of earth will stop
~
Will the upright ones ever see?
Actions that destroy our planet
Everything in disharmony
No more land on which to roam free
~
Please hear our nightly plaintive cries
Wild ones are victims of your greed
As you fill the air with disease
Break away from your many lies
~
Save our planet!

Your words speak to my heart….the plight of wolves, and all wild creatures, bothers me more than anything else about climate change.

I hear their cries in your poem. So fine that an “upright one” should find their voices.
