In April, I found compassion
Faced more than I could imagine
Searched deep within love to survive
In reality, I have thrived
~
So many deaths in the new Spring
Did not know all that month would bring
From pain and loss, peace I contrived
In reality, I have thrived
~
Now I focus on gratitude
Transforming my own attitude
Thankful for all I have derived
In reality, I have thrived

~~~And~~~
The challenge today asks for us to tell our least favorite month and I chose April as many things, good and bad seem to happen in April for me.
The echo in your Kyrielle is sad and wistful, but hopeful, Carol. I hope things are looking up 😊
I love this better than the cruel month take on April. It’s offers hope and makes April more about thriving 🙂
a beautiful butterfly has to shatter its chrysalis so its life can continue from its caterpillar form. wistful, yes, but hopeful also.
