Dawn reveals all secrets
that the night has hidden and
that light shows all
~
Slowly spreading her wings
she illuminates the land
with a dazzle
~
Creeping o’er the landscape
showing as life awakens
to the morning
~
In authenticity
no secrets can long be kept
truth will prevail

The prompt word this week is Secrets! All I know is that I am awful at keeping them.

Truth will finally prevail. Yes, I believe so.

Reminds me of fog that disguises the terrain and the sun unveils the true landscape.

I love the dawn as a bird whose wings spread the light! What secret can withstand such a traveler?

You’re welcome 🙂 I only see dawn in the winter; I watch the sun rise over the highway as I motor to work.

Truth will prevail the same as dawn must inevitably pass to day – i love the magic of that moment this poem captures however. .

The light of day will invariably be revealing more than what one desires to know. There are no secrets when the struggle to survive is more painful. Rightly so Carol!

I like the melding of the image of the rising sun with a bird on the wing. A beautiful photo!! And what takes place during night is visible if you have the sight for night vision. Nothing is ever really hidden.
