You breeze by me
Carrying yourself with pride
Too much surely
I want to scream out loud
Hard to carry
The load of your abuse
It is scary
But right now I’ve moved on
Not to tarry
Moved into the sunlight
Fly on freely
~

A poignant posting.. So many find it hard to break free of abuse.. So I am pleased she found freedom..

letting the other go freely allows you to go freely, does it not?

I like how your very last line is taking the thoughtful rhythm of your poem to make an even stronger impresssion.
