The waves wash the shore
The rhythm of life pulsates
~
Sunshine then darkness
All filled with Creator’s breath
~
Seasons pass us by
All life ebbs and flows freely
~
Clocks mark these changes
Our lives expand and contract
~
Birds shed their feathers
Snakes don new skin with travail
~
Change: the impetus
For the continuation
Of energy’s expansion

“I would like to you write your reflections about change either by using a Choka (a Choka is formed by writing 5/7 syllable couplets and you end the poem with an extra seven-syllable line. The poet may write as many couplets as he or she desires.) or a Shadorma (a non-rhyming six-line poem of 3/5/3/3/7/5 syllables) or perhaps a Shadorma variation. And choose whichever aspect of change interests you at this moment.”~Bastet
Well written ‘Choka’, Carol! All Change…. 😉 Hugs!

Beautiful theme – change, the ebb and flow of life. Photo reminds me of Maine’s coast. Was it?
