Sun rises reluctantly today
Grandfather shines upon us
Let’s boldly bask in his light
As the weather warms our skin
Pines send their pungent love
Undulating under our noses
Inviting us into the forest at dawn
Shall we, my love?

Splendid, touched this old seasoned heart.
