The prayer is my music and my muse
Caught in the rhapsody I must move
Proclaiming with my body my love for Thee
~
Looks wild but my movements are directed
Carrying me to a sacred place of reunion
The prayer is my music and my muse
~
My arms are free to exude my devotion
My legs carry me closer to my Beloved
Caught in the rhapsody I must move
~
The breeze is a reminder of the Friend
The sounds of my garments increase
Proclaiming with my body my love for Thee

The Prompt:
“Dance, when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.” ― Rumi
“What stage are you at in the above quote? Are you dancing? Write for ten minutes asking yourself the previous questions.”~ Morgan Dragonwillow
A flowing pray, heard silently as we watch and listen…

That’s so pretty! I didn’t even know OctPoWriMo was a thing. How cool! I’ve only participated in NaNoWriMo. Anyway, I just stopped by to let you know that I tagged you in the Authorly Bucket List tag. It’s super simple. 🙂 https://invisibleworldd.wordpress.com/2015/10/17/authorly-bucket-list-tag/

This is truly beautiful and so spiritual! Rumi would be so proud!! I used to kid around when I went out dancing a lot about 15 years ago, that I wanted to die on a dance floor, dying happy. It is interesting you quoted Wayne Dyer. On my first workshop I gave on Self-Esteem in the early 90`s I used his book “Pulling your own Strings” for ideas.

OH Carol I heard lyrics once about a whirling dervish and I never knew what that is! Do you mind if I share this with the person that shared that song with it? I love this so much!
