The yummy white homemade cake
Brought an emotional response
Sitting upon mother’s beveled glass
The couple had overcome heartbreak
~
He took her soft elbow so docile
Admiring her long, ecru dress
His ubiquitous telesthesia alerting him
That it was time for the unavoidable
~
Noises commenced proving him right
Bangs, whoops, and whistles abounded
The band was a prodigious crew
Shivaree had begun to his bride’s delight

I always check the word of the day at dictionary. com and often use them. I also look up things like words with beautiful meanings and beautiful words and then of course I read and scribble down good ones here and there. Oh yes and scrabble word finders are also good

This is great! You managed to fit in shivaree. I couldn’t get that one to work in mine.

to arrange a poem out of this zoo of words is more challenging than a crossword puzzle. but you did it.
