Prompt from Jacqueline Oby-Ikocha @jacquelineobeyikocha. Prompt theme is camouflage . Thank you!

Our camouflages are truly a sort of protection that shields us from untoward pain that we might experience when we expose ourselves. Lovely and I like the phrase approach me with love 🙂

Yes they are a protection. Just a matter of knowing when we no longer need it. Thank you!

I want a t-shirt that quotes your last line “approach me not without love.” Now that is an awesome way to end a poem where the narrator is camouflaged for protection 🙂

our walls of camouflage, say, addictions or other compulsive behaviors, are often the medication we need and use for self-medication, or even for psychological/emotional survival in order to establish necessary boundaries. we do/did the best we can on the road to self-forgiveness and self-acceptance and eventual re-connection to God, to our soul and to our human family. this wall looks pretty seedy, but looks effective. 😉
