Come, grow old with me
in a salty shanty by the sea
~
Let’s search for sea glass
hand in hand
Sharing the feeling of being free
no matter the sand
between our toes
Our love flows like the beach grass
as we leave behind our woes

“So for this week’s poetics – I want you to write about a poet you know – about their writing style, about their uniqueness and how you as a reader connect to their words. You can pick a poem of the poet of your choice and write a response to the same as well. I encourage you to choose a poet from the Dverse community – however, if you want to select a poet of your choice or one or two line from the original piece that’s all right. The only rule is do not mention the poet”~Abhra
Can you guess who I chose? 🙂

A lovely poem that makes the reader sigh after reading.

My pleasure, Carol. I’ve not had time to visit many people but some I read on my reader on my way to work. Cheryl-Lynn

I’ve neglected Carpe Diem so squeeze in Blogging from a to Z on TWO blogs and NaPoWriMo as well. But at least I am writing a bit more but reading a lot more when I’m not working. We need to change things around sometimes. Now let’s hope for warmer nights…I am still heating my home here.

Change is hard for me but afterwards, I don’t regret it.

Me too. I love the sea but have lived in a landlocked state for over 20 years. Thank God for lakes! 🙂

You did a great job! This post sound really great. I saw something similar a couple of weeks ago, something similar to this https://montereywaterfrontcanneryrowtours.com/, but you did in-depth research, and your post appears to be more compelling than others.
I am amazed by the arguments you provided as well as the style of your post.
I like when articles are both informative and interesting, when even boring facts are
presented in an interactive way. Well, it’s surely about
your post.
